Which exam boards do you cover for GCSE English?

I have extensive experience with all major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. As an AQA English Language and Literature examiner, I provide specific insights into mark schemes and examiner expectations for each board.

How do online tutoring sessions work?

Online sessions are conducted via a secure video platform with interactive tools. This allow students to share work, analyse texts in real-time, and receive the same high-quality, personalized support as face-to-face sessions. Before the first session, parents will be sent a link which will allow students to access every session.

Can you help with SEND requirements or exam anxiety?

Yes. With a background as a SEN Lead, I specialize in tailoring sessions for diverse learning needs and building confidence in students who experience exam-related stress or anxiety.

Do you work with Key Stage 3 students?

With younger students, we focus on the building blocks of English Language and Literature, preparing young people for the rigours of the GCSE examinations early.

Are you able to support those who will be taking 11+ examinations?

With young people who will be sitting Entrance examinations, there is a focus on reading comprehension, writing techniques and verbal reasoning.

Where do Face to Face sessions take place?

Face to Face sessions take place in homes or quiet public spaces such as libraries.
